1004MC Calculation Change

On June 30th Fannie Mae released announcement SEL-2010-09, which included a number of updates and guidance on Appraisal-related policies. One of these updates pertained to the 1004MC form and defining the most accurate way to depict the “Months of housing Supply” as the effective date of the appraisal.

Due to the recent clarification we will be updating our 1004mc service to reflect the new calculations of Active Listing counts in ClickFORMS. If you would like to read the entire Fannie Mae announcement please click here.

New Bing Map Features

The release of the new Bing Maps is right around the corner. Because of this we would like to highlight some of the changes you will experience after you upgrade your software.
  1. Service is provided by Bing Maps not Mappoint (Still a Microsoft service)
  2. The “get map” tab will geolocate the subject and selected sales, listings, and rentals
  3. If the geolocater is unable to locate an address, the service will return the closest matching address. You can choose an address provided or select skip to generate a map arrow that can be manually placed on the address location
  4. Road, Aerial and Birds eye view maps are created
  5. Preferences Tab includes options to:
     a. Select Label Size
     b. Select Label type
     c. Select Label Colors
     d. Balloon options such as, include property thumbnail or show assessor’s parcel number
     e. Transfer options
  6. Once you transfer the map to your report, you must double click on the map and open the map manager again to make any adjustments to the map

Here is a quick preview of what an aerial map will look like in with the new Map service.
